Travel-wise Team in the Junior School is aiming to Promote Positive Parking.

Catching our parents being great!

Travel wise Leaders scouting the front of the school for vehicles parked safely away from the school gates.

Safe drivers are informed of their initiative and given a flyer and a loyalty card.

Once parents have earned five clicks on the loyalty card, they can be redeemed for a burger at Wendy’s or a muffin and coffee at Caltex Petrol in Otara.

Our Travel Wise Leaders have received lots of positive comments and encouragement from our community. One driver told us how they had given one of our flyers to a parent of a child attending another school so they can use the idea for their school’s road safety! In Term 2, Travel wise will be promoting walking as a healthy mode of transport for getting to school.
