“Pure Mathematics is, in its way, the poetry of logical ideas.” ~Albert Einstein

At SEHC we are proud of the opportunities we offer in the Mathematics Department. We use Mathematics to teach the students the ability to use relational and extended abstract thinking to solve Mathematical, but also everyday problems. These are vital skills in any profession, and especially at university where abstract reasoning and problem solving are required.

We acknowledge that all students have the ability to learn the needed Mathematics skills and strategies to equip them for different situations. The Mathematics teachers are committed to plan for effective teaching and to provide sufficient opportunities to learn. All Mathematics teachers at this school strive to create and supportive and inclusive learning environment for students of different abilities.
