Food is covered within the NZ Curriculum delivered by classroom teachers throughout the year.

Sound

In this advanced technological era students investigate production techniques in sounds using apps such as Garageband, Tenuto, and Magic Piano.

Media

  • Media communicates ideas and information through conceptual design. In today’s society, communication and design are vital factors and visual literacy is an important part of the cognitive process.
  • Media enables students to apply creativity, logic and knowledge to solving real life problems. Students are encouraged to seek innovative solutions and use design to develop and communicate these solutions in various ways. The use of computer aided design and movie production is has a predominant place in the course. Media involves an interesting variety of learning experiences that teaches students to become leaders in the ever changing world of technology and therefore media.
